The DC Setter Plate, also known as a setter or bat, is used to hold and support DC grinding wheels during the baking process in the oven.
Made from aluminium alloys, it is produced to the required profile to match the DC wheel shape, with customers able to supply samples to get setters made to their exact specification.
Available in sizes 4", 5", 6", 7", and 9", with thickness ranging from 6mm to 8mm as per requirement.
The face is serrated for better heat circulation during baking, where grinding wheels are stood on the setter plate inside the oven at approximately 200oC.
