The Flat Setter Plate, also known as a setter or bat, is used to hold and support cutting wheels during the baking process in the oven.
Made from aluminium alloys, it is machined to the required profile to match the wheel shape, ensuring a stable and even seating surface for the wheel throughout the bake cycle. Customers can supply samples, and setters are made to match the exact specification provided.
Available in sizes 4", 5", 6", 7", and 9", with thickness ranging from 6mm to 8mm as per requirement.
The face is serrated to improve heat circulation around the wheel during baking, allowing for more even heat exposure across the surface.
The plate is used with a clamping stand inside the oven structure, where wheels are baked at a temperature of approximately 200oC.
